    Pablo Designs Clamp Led Lamp
Design Dana Cannam, 2011. Wood, polyurethane, polycarbonate lens, leather pad, fabric cord. Made by Pablo Designs. "Understated beauty and an uncompromising level of utility are key to the Pablo design philosophy," says designer Dana Cannam on his inspiration for Clamp. "The opportunity to extend that sensitivity to a material as essential as wood was a natural transition." Clamp continues Pablo's tradition of offering simple, efficient pieces by combining two basic elements - wood and light - in a seemingly oppositional pairing of the natural and the technological. While warm, North American hardwood composes its frame, the most sustainable, energy efficient LED technology comprises its light source. Designed for versatility and portability, the Clamp, freestanding, floor and mini models all include a minimal number of parts that enable infinite adjustment of its warm, diffused light. Clamp lamp features a wood assembly with 360º arm rotation, Hi-low dim control and advanced LED array which eliminates multiple shadows and lasts for 50K hours or 25 years of daily use. The unique compression fit clamp system allows for attaching to various table thicknesses. Offered in your choice of white oak with a red fabric cord or walnut with a black fabric cord. clamp lamp: 26.5" h | arm: 26" L | base: 7" dia. | cord: 8' L. includes 9W, 3000K, 485 lumen LED array | assembly required.

  • Bensen Brix Modular Stacking Drawer System

Bensen Brix Modular Stacking Drawer System
Design Niels Bendtsen. High-density wood composite, lacquer, birch, steel. Made in British Columbia by Bensen. Brix is a modular stacking drawer system that can be arranged in almost endless configurations. Its versatility comes from its simplicity, resulting in a system that can be adapted, reconfigured, and expanded over time. The pre-assembled modules are combined easily using simple pin-and-cam mechanisms to create rigid units that can be stacked to any height, while a steel under-frame provides strength and stability, along with the ability to gang units together seamlessly. Brix is made from high-density wood composite panels painted with a premium high gloss lacquer that is available in four colors. Tops are reinforced with steel to support heavy loads, while drawers are equipped with concealed push-latch slides for silent and easy opening. The drawer boxes themselves are made with Bensen's standard European Birch plywood, but with taped top edges for a more finished look. The two base options provide different advantages. The steel fin legs provide a way to lock ganged units together, and create the appearance of a single continuous unit. Panel bases allow units to sit low on the ground and are equipped with hidden levellers for adjustment on uneven floors. Both options ensure a tight fit when units are placed side by side. Order one Top box, and one Base for each freestanding cabinet, plus the quantity of additional Mid box drawers required. Back side is a light grey melamine finish. Assembly required.
