Behold the English version of the Hobonichi Techo, one of Japan's best-selling daily planners! "Techo" comes from the Japanese words for "hand" and "notebook", and it means "planner". More than just an agenda, it is a convenient, pocket-sized companion to your daily life. Over the years, the Hobonichi Techo has become known for its functional design and thoughtful features: Stitch binding: This type of lay-flat binding makes it easier for you to write in your Techo. Tomoe River paper: The ultra-thin paper is lightweight and easy to carry, yet resistant to ink bleedthrough. Page-per-day layout: Each day of the year has its own page—plenty of space for planning and memory-keeping. Customizable grid: The paper's grid pattern helps you write easily and stay organized. Daily quotations: Each page comes with an entertaining or inspirational quote. This highly anticipated 2016 English version, called the "Hobonichi Planner", has all of these features plus a map with helpful tips for traveling and dining in Japan. Hobonichi Planner covers are made of durable polyester in a variety of colors. Inside, the left flap contains two large pockets and five small pockets for storing cards, while the right flap has three pockets for receipts, checks, and other small items. Two matching ribbon bookmarks are attached to the cover, along with two pen loops. Each loop can hold one pen, or alternatively, a pen can be inserted into both pen loops to keep the cover closed. This is the Custard cover, which has a soft cream interior. The Hobonichi Planner is designed as a blank canvas for documenting the small moments of everyday life. Use it as a diary, scrapbook, photo album, sketchbook, or just as a place to write and record your thoughts!
