Jake Olson is an award-winning, internationally published photographer and graphic artist from Blair, Nebraska. His belief that everything in the world is beautiful as long as we take the time to look at it allows him to take normal, everyday subjects and transform them into enchanting images focused on breathtaking light and color. Mostly self-taught in the realm of digital photography, Jake’s passion was realized as a young child, though he didn't pursue this until the age of 38 when he picked up his first camera. Reigniting his passion after leaving the high-end jewelry business in 2010, Jake took inspiration from his previous career working for the likes of Cartier and Neiman Marcus, and made the decision to attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh to study Photography in support of his newfound career. Jake is now published throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Today his photographs are featured in the beautiful book Focus on Nebraska, published by The Omaha World-Herald. His work can be found in Vogue Magazine UK, Digital SLR Photography Magazine, Photography Master Class Magazine, Huffington Post, BBC, The Weather Channel and in National Geographic's Daily Dozen. Jake images are also featured on dozens of book covers around the world.
