I just pulled mine out of the box and am so glad I did. I love it and it's perfect for all occasions. I went with a lighter color so it wouldn't look as dressy but now I want black too. Whoops! Of course, mine was on the low end for Chanel. My daughter is already making googly eyes at it.
@sophisty I just recall your fondness for bags (a weakness I share!) But I didn't realize they were worth so much! That makes sense, because there was a woman in Vancouver who had over a million dollars worth of bags stolen! try explaining that to your insurance adjuster!!
Scarves are lovely, though I have few opportunities to wear them these days.
@incogneato You seriously thought I owned a Chanel bag? $6,000 hanging over my shoulder? That's pretty funny! No, I'm more of a black microfiber gal. Although I do admit to a rather large collection of Hermes scarves... during the years when I was a business consultant, and dressed in navy suits, silk blouses, & black Ferragamos, I did a lot of business travel. And when I got to a city with an Hermes store, I would buy a scarf. I think I have 12 or 13... can't remember. But this was in the 80s, when Greed was Good, and also the scarves weren't as expensive. The good part is that a scarf always fits, even if your hips... um... grow. So I still wear the scarves. During chemotherapy, when I was a baldie, I tied a different one on every day, pirate-style. My oncologist always got a kick out of it.
I think it's the perfect combination!!! I agree with you, I have a Prada bag and I do carry it everywhere, no point in hiding it in the closet. LOVE these earrings too!! XXO
If I owned a Chanel bag, I wouldn't save it for special occasions. I would carry it everywhere. The farmer's market. The libary. The little place on the corner that makes the best lattes. And the beach. Definitely, the beach.
