Jennifer's P.O.V-

"Crap." My alarm clock had just gone off for the fifth time. It was 6:45. I needed to be at school by 7. "Not gonna happen," I muttered, getting out of bed. I stood and stopped, waiting for the black dots to settle from their swarm.

It was 7 by the time I was ready to leave. I ran out the door to my car, and put it into gear. Late on the first day of Jun ior Year.

Austin's P.O.V.

I looked out from the stage in the auditorium at all of my classmates. I was getting ready to begin the "New Year" speech. I stepped up to the microphone and began.

"Good morning. This year is going to be great. We," I was cut off.

The auditorium door swung open and in stumbled Jennifer. I rolled my eyes and began again when she finally slumped into a seat near all of her preppy friends.

Sure, she might hang out with them, but something wasn't right. My gut tells me she doesn't fit in with them.

She may seem as cool and collected, but never judge a book by it's cover.

Jennifer's P.O.V

I rolled my eyes as Austin cleared his throat and began again. He was watching me. It made no sense. I turned my head to my left and caught a snippet of conversation from my "Friends". Psshh.. Yeah. Friends. Please. If only they knew what happens behind closed doors...
