The shape of a glass tells us what it must be filled with. Use a Martini glass for a Cosmopolitan, a champagne flute for champagne, and so on. Therefore, a good organized house bar has numerous different glasses, all of them made for determinate contents. The designer Alissia Melka-Tiechroew faced the challenge of designing playfully and creatively and bent her drink glasses from the inside to the outside. So to say, she made the negative image of a glass. The external trapeze form accords to the form of an archetype drinking glass. The inside of the glass reveals what it should be filled with – especially when it is filled. The InsideOut glasses are an archetype, humorous and stylish fulfil of every house bar. Moreover, they possess the practical advantage of acting insulating, thanks to the double walls, being wonderfully adapted to cool drinks such as Ouzo, Grappa, Tequila etc.
