You are welcome! I am sure it can take a while to find certain items! Haha, I understand what you mean by not wanting to wait for someone else to import different colors of the same item! Thanks for the suggestion! It is such a cool idea but I am really bad at using photoshop! :)

@norih Well thank you! It can take a bit to find the right item, but sometimes you'll get lucky and find someone who has a lot of great collections that are full of items that are the same color. Most users will eventually import different colors of the same item, but I'm impatient and I don't want to wait for someone else to import it lol. If you decide to do the photoshop idea, I suggest using a tumblr account for importing :)

Oh that makes sense. Whenever I look at your sets I see so many different objects that you use and it is really cool! It is really cool how you are able to create such beautiful pictures by incorporating so many different things! Yes, I know about the searching for colors. Wow, I have never thought of editing anything in Photoshop. That is a really cool idea!

@norih I don't do anything special to the colors. I just use whatever I find or what I think goes with the set. I don't usually use this option, but let's say you want to search for a blue bow.. You can either type in blue bow and search for it, or you can type in bow and then search by color (select the color boxes next to the price drop down menu in your Editor and it should give you a bunch of different colors to choose from). If I find the perfect image or item and it's not available in the color I need or want, I usually edit it in Photoshop and import to Polyvore. I've done this with dresses that don't come in the color I like, or piecing together different items to make a dress (like this one: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/thing?id=55253839). As for the shapes, most of the time I cut them out myself and you can do that by selecting the item you want to edit and choosing the third box below the "Backwards" button in your editor. It should say "custom". Make sure the Polygon option is selected and then cut out whatever shape you'd like and click save or "ok".

How are you able to find the exact colors and shapes to create your sets?

@dannuia Thank you! @norih Not very long! I haven't really timed myself but I'd say about 20/30 minutes. My box sets take a bit longer though. When I first started creating art sets, it would take me a while.. like hours.
