After a summer of pastels and flower brocades, this fall-winter season, Christopher Kane turns to the seedy parts of New York City, with a collection inspired from the early 80's film Cruising, with Al Pacino as a gay serial-killer. The designer imagines the kind of girl who might infiltrate the lurid sex clubs depicted in the movie, and proposes a conceptual, minimalist and overly sexy silhouette, in a mix of hectic purple and blue moirés, bloody red flocked mesh, fetishist black leather and glossy leopard prints. A transgressive creative touch for a hypnotic collection. Fall-Winter collection 2012-2013.
