So because I felt so bored/depressed/tied-down today, I decided to take a train to Boston and just spend some time there for a couple of hours. Alone.

I went to Downtown Crossing, a place normally where I hang out with my friends. Except this time, i was alone, and it was around 5:00ish. The sun was almost setting and it was a fall kind of chilly. I went to one of my favorite used book stores and bought This Side of Paradise. Then I went to Starbucks (when in doubt of the food in the area, go to Starbucks... my philosophy.) There was this homeless lady outside Starbucks and I felt bad for her so I gave her $5. I know people say it's bad to give homeless people money because most likely they have a drug problem, but I felt so horrible, just walking by her like that. But it totally lit up my day and gave me some spring in my step when she lit up and said "Thank you." I wanted to cry at the same time but just nodded and walked on.

When I came home, I felt so much better. Like I'm more focused or something. I know what to do now. I'm back on track to my goals.

I love traveling so much.
