That's so true Sweetsy! I'm really going to try as well this coming fall season to stick to buying maybe just a few great accessories, because I just have so many great basics that are in excellent shape and have almost never been worn. I have the same problem with cardigans, I'm addicted and must have at least 30 (seriously)! Unless J.Crew comes out with some amazing new piece or print I don't think I'll buy much this year. I still love seeing other pv members outfits with the new pieces and think if only I had someplace to go so that I could wear that!

I'm with you both! I need another cardi like a hole in the head (or any sweaters for that matter!) And I am really thinking more about how little my clothing is even seen in the winter. I have come to realize that I get out of the house more during the spring and summer months and I am pretty covered up in the winter! I've decided accessories and maybe a coat with a great pop of color might be my only real desires. I am really not loving the Fall style shoes this year--heels and toes that are not my thing. Unless something really special/unusual pops up at JC for a weekend night, then I am good. Now if I can just stick to that plan-LOL!

That's what I prefer to wear on weekends! Jeans and tees are just so comfortable and easy, and with they right shoes and accessories you can look quite stylish!

Ha! We sound just alike! :-P Except I don't wear scrubs to work everyday!! ;) I do wear casual clothes like jeans and tees most days though!

The colours are great! My closet is also overflowing and I really need to wear what I already have. I wear srubs to work every day so I really only have a chance to wear my already great pieces from J.Crew on the weekends and I hate buying something like another pencil skirt and wearing it maybe once or twice. I'm really trying to follow the cost per wear theory. I often get a J.Crew pencil skirt(usually the printed ones) one size larger so it sits lower on my hips and thes have it altered so that it hits just at the top of my knees for a more casual look!

I agree with you about the new fall items! I'm loving all of the bright colors and pieces but they're not practical for my lifestyle either!! I may try out a few of the cardis but I already have a closet that is bursting at the seams so unless I LOVE them, no thanks! ;)
