Danese Milano Danese - Graphic "Tre, la mela e la pera"
Iconic forms with perfect proportions inspired Enzo Mari for his collection della Natura. “Tre, la mela e la pera” is the third object out of the graphic series created by the Italian designer. This art edition by Danese Milano brings back the classic piece. Nature is the pattern for beauty and elegance. The harmonic proportions and the iconic strength of the images let the viewer interpret it all: Apple and pear as symbols for man and woman, sin and temptation, Yin and Yang. Despite (or maybe therefore) the versatile interpretation possibilities, the design remains clear and reduced, so that “The, la mela e la pera” is perfectly suitable as wall decoration for the living room, the children’s room, the office or public rooms equally. The Danese Milano “della natura” series includes six images with nature motives, from the single apple over the panther up to the goose head. Enzo Mari created these images in the 1960s and 1970s with the demand of creating motives that would still be relevant in 300 years.

„Il volti“ – „The faces“ is the name of the picture series by the Italian painter Mimmo Paladino, one of the most famous representatives of the so-called Italian “Transavantgarde”. The fourth part of the six-part series from 2007 convinces by its archaic beauty, the clear lines and the timeless, unerring colour selection. Danese Milano publishes the work by the renowned contemporary artist as a print series and in a strictly limited number of 200 copies annually. It can be called a successful relation, as the Milanese manufacturer is regarded as a precursor for the success of Italian design since 1957. The collage version of the work signed by Mimmo Padadino, which is limited to 50 copies annually, is also available.
