Sullivan 'Daddy-O' Perrault II, 48 (Brad Pitt)
Sullivan, or Daddy-O, the only name his children will ever call him, was born to not so humble beginnings in a huge manor is the Maryland city of Baltimore. He attended private Catholic school, which cemented his 'good Christian morals' and Republican ideals. He earned high honors at Dartmouth and applied to law school successfully. It was there he began to court his future wife. He tells the story the same way every time. "Love at first sight in the stacks of Sapido library." Their courtship ended in a happy marriage. Sullivan moved his new family back to his mother’s hometown and took a job as a lawyer. Life could only get better for the young Perraults. His wife became pregnant with their first child, and from there, life began, and before long there were five of his darlings. He is adored in the art history community, his major in college, with his fifties father knows best attitude and his love for vintage pipes. And of course, his children could never imagine a better father, but then, the question is, why are they so eager to leave him?
Ginger Perrault (née Islington), 49 (Angelina Jolie)
Ginger, never Mother, appears to be the perfect wife and mother. Her husband is a brilliant and adoring, and her children brilliant in their own right. And then, of course, there is her sunny disposition. Ginger is the daughter of a rich but withholding railroad man, and she grew up with none of the luxuries her husband enjoyed. Her father was an abusive man who drove his wife to the very definition of insanity, with-holding many things from his daughter including a proper education. However, Ginger refused to let him destroy her and began to teach herself, and, eventually, was able to apply, and be accepted, to Dartmouth. When her father died, leaving her alone, finally, she took his money and created herself an empire of sorts. She met her future husband in university, and he was immediately enchanted by her, and her quirks. Her children know her as their wonderful darling Ginger who is afraid of mayonnaise and the vulgar words heinie and booger, the one who (potentially) drove her therapist to suicide. Regardless, her family is well endeared to her, and her peculiarities. Until she does something horrific.
St. John Perrault, 31 (Djordje Bogdanovic)
St. John is perhaps the only Perrault child with few faults. Clean cut and paying his parent’s grocery bills, St. John is the ideal son, and husband. He’s particularly close and protective, as the oldest, of the youngest, his little sister,Luxe, who just moved back into their family home, the Tower House.
Sullivan 'Sully' Perrault III, 30 (Aaron Bruckner)
Sullivan, referred to only as Sully, is the black sheep of the Perrault family. Like James Bond, his favorite character, he chases beautiful women, fast cars, and smooth drinks. He left Lewisburg for Hollywood, living on shattered dreams and dust in his new home, refusing to turn back. That is, until his money runs out and he comes slinking back with his tail tucked between his legs.
Dahlia Cross (née Perrault), 28 (Maryna Linchuk)
If Sully is the black sheep, then Dahlia is the secret rebel. Up until her seventeenth year, she held incredibly tight bonds with her family, in particular her sisters. Beautiful and intelligent, she set the impossible standards for everything around her. And then she started taking college courses and fell in love and ran away with the boy on the most important night of her life. And just like that, she was abandoned. It took an extraordinary amount of convincing for her to be allowed to visit on weekends from Dartmouth, but eventually, her family grew to forgive her, until she committed what was seen as the ultimate betrayal. The only one still talking to her? Her littlest sister, Luxe.
Aurélie Perrault, 27 (Erin Heatherton)
Aurélie is the whirlwind, the drastic rebel to Dahlia’s secret. At fifteen, she was suspended from school after performing a striptease during a performance of Guys and Dolls in protest of the sexist themes. By sixteen, she was addicted to clove cigarettes. She spent her seventeenth birthday in jail. And then, just as miraculously as her sister, she changed. And unlike her siblings, she’s never coming back to the toxicity around her.
Bio: Growing up, no one expected anything of Luxe Perrault. She was the littlest, incomparable to her siblings, and their various accomplishments. She was the quiet, shy one in a family of screamers, and she blended into her surroundings. She wasn’t ugly, or pretty like her sisters, she was simply plain. That is, until she disappeared the balmy night before graduation, leaving a vague goodbye note in expensive stationary, her mother’s, on her pillow. A month later the vague postcards began to appear, showing a new side of the Perrault’s littlest, a side with a tan and the ability to surf, and tales of drug runners in Miami; chorus girl dresses and glamorous waves, fashion and wine. No one, especially Luxe, is certain what drew her to New York., but she fell in love, in more ways than one. He was a handsome stockbroker who became immediately infatuated with her, the darling who wanted to be everything and go everywhere and meet everyone. With him by her side she became something incredible and beautiful, unrecognizable. And so when he told her he had fallen in love with her, she replied she had as well. And the two were married, making her no longer the doll in the corner. And that’s exactly what she must establish in her former home. And with her childhood love returning as well, and her need for a child of her own, wandering Luxe might just have to stay put.

He doesn’t neglect Luxe, per se, but their relationship certainly has diminished. It’s a questionable call, can he reign her in?
