"Ugh, do I have to?" I whined to my mother.
"Yes, Julia. We go to Aunt Madelyn's house every year."
"Fine," I pouted and stormed off.
I always hated going to her house. My mother always tried to set me up with their family friend. Ugh. And he was gross.
I looked in my suitcase for something to wear. I put together something, but I really didn't look that great. And my hair was being difficult, as always.
"Julia, we're leaving!" My mom yelled to me.
I rushed down the stairs, tripping and falling on the last step."Ouch," I grimaced, rubbing my ankle. A boy about my age came to the stairs, putting out his hand.
"Here, let me help you up." He smiled. I noticed that he was dressed really expensively and he had those bright blue eyes like Spencer.
I gave him my hand and he pulled me up.
"Are you okay?" He asked sweetly.
"Yeah, thanks. I'm fine." I replied, matching his tone. "I actually do that a lot. And these heels don't help..."
"I'm Zac, by the way," he said while walking me out. "Spencer's son."
I froze. I thought Spencer only had those two little boys that I had already met.
"Oh, um. Hi! I'm Julia," I said."Maribel's daughter."
He looked a little shocked.
"You've never heard of me," I asked, looking at him.
"Umm, actually no." He said, confused.
"I've never heard of you either..." I said in a confused tone and tilted my head.
I was wondering why he was never mentioned before, why I was never mentioned before. But he seems nice. And at least I have company at the party.
