Today was it, it was the biggest day of Holly's life. Sure, meeting and falling in love with Brian was amazing, but today was the day that they would entwine their lives and be bonded to each other as man and wife.
They were soul mates, they knew each other in previous lives. Nobody could ask for a better love than that.
The setting was perfect; a beautiful sunset behind the wedding party. It gave Brian a heavenly glow as he waited almost impatiently for Holly to get to him.
In his head, he sang to himself; "Every night I was praying' that everyday would be the day I would find you. I grew so impatient, how long would it take to know you were out there, somewhere, somewhere waitin'. Wondering just like me."
Tears filled the bridesmaids eyes as Holly made her way from the horse drawn carriage escorted by her father down the aisle. If there had ever been a deafening silence, it was this moment.
Nobody dared breathe, it was almost as if a breath could ruin the truly perfect moment that was happening. Almost as if each and every guest had been transported into Brian and Holly's private world.
Some felt that they should turn away, it was such a private moment but they felt honored to be a part of such a beautiful moment.
Once Brian shook Mr. Thieleman's hand and took Holly's in his, the electricity between them could be felt in everyone's bodies.
Standing there, at the back of the aisle, a bright smile on his face was the man who had been watching over the both of them for years. He had departed too soon, but his love and warmth could be felt. His blue eyes shining with love, a small whispered; "I love you guys" could be heard in the lightly blowing wind.
The ceremony was truly one of a kind, once the vows had been said, the officiant had given his words that signified the two were now bonded and joined in life as man and wife, another wave of silence washed over the crowd.
This time it was mere seconds, Holly and Brian's lips met in a truly loving way before the crowd erupted in cheers and applause, small grains of rice were tossed on the couple as they made their way down the aisle and into the awaiting limo to make their way to the reception.
