Okay, sorry for the crap set :P
I think Ill remake it later...
Okay, here's the tip:
This is a given, right? But really, I LOVE them so much, I keep them out year round. They're quite cheap too. Just buy some you like and... pile in a jar, hang around your window/door/shelf, drape around your bed or wall... anything. :) It makes your room look so pretty and warm.
They aren;t just for trees! Hand your favorites around your room- on bullitin boards, on nails, on doorknobs, on your bed... anywhere. :)
These are a LOT of fun to make (and very very easy) and look so Christmasy! Make some in white and red and hang them as above. :)
We make these every year and I just love them. They're gorgeous hanging as above, also on trees (speaking of which, once we decorated our white tree in red and white pom poms and these birds. Loved it!!!) and from the cieling. Gorgeous.
First cut out simple bird shapes out of white paper. Cover with glue and sprinkle glitter all over. Shake off excess and punch a hole in the top, string yarn through and tie to form a circle. Done!
You can get a mini one or not, living or not. They look so cute! Decorate too. :)
-sweaters, boots, scarves
Don't hide your winter clothes! Display them- they look great. :)
Fill jars with white glitter. :). Baby food jars work great.
-peppermints and candy canes
Put them in jars or in piles. :)
So fun to make, and so pretty. String them to make a garland, tape to your windows, hang on your tree, hang from your cieling... whatever :)
Not decoration to eye, but to your ear! Download some new Christmas music onto your iPod :). I LOVE Relient K's Let it Snow Baby, Let it Raindeer. Also, Ella Fitzgerald is awesome :)
Tie to everything! :)
-posters and photos
Redo your bullitin board and/or wall with some wintery photos. I love making collages and putting them up :)
I like them best when you make them yourself :)
Paint these white! You have a couple additional options too: 1) then sprinkle glitter over 2) paint the insides of the knob things a different color- gold or red?
ooooh I LOVE this! I have some silver tinsle that I just adore. :)
Get out and display any penguins, deer, foxes... any wintery animals :)
Buy a new wintery/Christmasy scent- in the form of a lotion, candle, or spray.
I hope that you liked it!
