Thank you so much! I got to see a Degas exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago (where I used to live) once. It was wonderful. It even contained some of the ballerina sculptures--they were awesome!

ABSTRACT ART!!

ABSTRACT ART!!

263 sets from 53 members. Ended 7 years ago.
Do you like Abstract Art? Or are you perplexed by it and can't figure out what it all means. Well here is your chance to create your own Abstract Art. Some famous abstractionists that you can look to for inspiration are Piet Mondrian (famous for his color block paintings), Jackson Pollack (famous for throwing paint on the canvas & letting it land where it may), Jean Miro & Kandinsky. And in case you are not sure what abstract art actually is, it is an art form that uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.

Still confused!! ** Here are two links to help you out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abstract_art & http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=famous+abstract+artists&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=HeaNSrC6BMu_lAeKpLilDA&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4

So, let your imagination run wild & Have Fun! This contest will run for 3 weeks, with 12 winners.
