Design House Stockholm - Block Lamp
Today the Block Lamp belongs to the design classics and is known all over the world. In 1996, designed by the Finish designer Harri Koskinen, the Block Lamp is since 2000 in the constant collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Since entering of the Block Lamp through the business Design House Stockholm, the lamp was awarded with many design prizes - e.g with the Excellent Swedish Design (1998), the Design Plus Award (1999) or the Best New Product at the Accent Show in New York (1999), just to name some of them. The Block Lamp is made of handmade clear glass, which is finsihed in a complex cooling process and gives the lamp its typical illusory mpression of a ice block. The two glass halfs enclose the illuminant (E 12 - 230V/15 W) and cater for a harmonic lighting on the table or as floor lamp in hallway or living room. Optional a wall mounting out of painted iron for the Block Lamp, with which the lamp becomes a unique wall lamp, can be ordered. Becasue of the 10th anniversary the Design House Stockholm published the lamp with different-coloured, textile-coated electro-cables (red, white and black). Design House Stockholm - Block Lamp Mini
This mini edition of the world famous design classic -Block Lamp” is always the selection of the hour, when one doesn’t want to renounce excellent design for space reasons. Designed in the year 1996 by the Finnish designer Harri Koskinen, the Block Lamp is represented in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Since the introduction of the block Lamp by the company Deisgn House Stockholm, the lamp has really been covered with design awards, such as the Excellent Swedish Design (1999), the Design Plus Award (1999) or the Best New Product on the Accent Show in New York (1999), to only name a few. The Block Lamp consists of hand made clear glass, produced in a sophisticated cooling process that offers the typical illusionary appeal of a huge ice cube to the lamp. Both glass halves surround the illuminant (E 12 – 230V/15W) and ensure a moody illumination on the table or as floor illumination in the corridor or the living room. Optionally also there is a wall fixture out of lacquered iron available for the Block Lamp, making the lamp an exceptional wall lamp. Because of the 10th anniversary, the Design House Stockholm published the lamp with different coloured textile covered electric cables. The illuminant is included in the delivery package!

Design House Stockholm - Link Table Lamp
The Link table lamp by Design House Stockholm seems fragile but not restrained, airy but not space stealing, clear but not simple. Distinctive design elements such as the massive nuts - in the joints of the lamp’s arm of in-between – determine the appearance of Link. An exciting contrast therefore has been reached by the matt feel of the worked aluminium. The 99 high-developed, energy saving high performance LEDs, hardly create warmth and they can be adjusted as focused light beam as well as indirect illumination. Since the tension control is integrated in the rotating joints, no power cables annoy the mobility of the lamp’s arm and its possible rotation of 360 degree or its inclination angle of 180 degree. The Link table lamp by Design House Stockholm is available in several colours.
