Designer of the Week: Alexander Wang.

Hello, my loves! Sorry to be gone so long. 2013 is bringing on some changes that are rocking my world a little bit. I am going through a break up right now. I only mention this because I think there's a big difference in the way that we dress when we're single or in a relationship. My single girl style is still elusive to me being that the break up is still fresh.
 
Right now I need to put together outfits that I don't need to think about to much. I need simple ensembles. As chic and simple as I think a full on black look is, I don't want to seem too depressed right now. Too bright and it wouldn't feel honest.
 
I chose Alexander Wang for the Designer of the Week, because his lines suit what I am going through right now. His pieces are simple, but interesting; feminine but tough. It's what I need right now.
 
This outfit is perfect. Leather shorts and heels always make me feel strong. I love these ankle booties with black tights. The sweater is cozy and graphic without seeming like I want a lot of attention on myself right now. The bright color of the sweater is a great contrast to the bag. I love the color and the shape of the bag. It puts the fun spin on "baggage" that I really need right now. Thanks, Alexander Wang, for being awesome and accessible!
