the girls are getting their dresses fitted at willow's place as the camera crew will be filming. it'll be just us chicks so don't forget some serious girl talk and afterwards, the dj, girl talk, has come over to the apartment per willow's reqest to bump some jams and hang out with the females of the fame crew.
The doorbell rang and I jumped from the couch to answer the door. In the process, I practically knocked over my champagne glass, but Gaga caught it and the champagne just sloshed out of the glass a bit. We both giggled and as I moved out of the room, Gaga called after me, "Don't worry, Willow, I'll refill it for you!"
I smiled as I reached for the doorknob and swung open the door. Torie stood at the door, Nightmare, Aria, Bristol, Adrianna, Miu, Honeybee, Jolie, and Bowie were standing right behind her. They whooped as I motioned for them to enter. I said my greetings to each one, my smile only faltering when I realized Monster was absent. I ushered my wedding party into my living room, where Gaga was already setting out multiple champagne flutes and filling each one to the brim. This received another whoop from the girls.
I entered the room and caught Gaga's eye. "Monster's not here," I mouthed to her so the others wouldn't hear. I'm sure she had already noticed, but I said it anyway. She shot me a sympathetic look, and I tried to wipe the disappointment from my own face. I leaned over to grab my glass again, just as Gaga rose from the couch.
"I'd like to propose a toast for Willow, and our fabulous dresses," Gaga announced as she held her glass in the air. "May you gain eternal happiness with Russell, and may these dresses look amazing shortened so we can wear them again!" I laughed and we all clinked glasses. I grabbed a tray of shrimp cocktail, cucumber tea sandwiches, and brie cheese with crostinis and brought it out to the living room. I placed the tray on the table and set down a stack of napkins as the doorbell rang again.
"Must be the seamstress with our dresses!" I announced as the girls grabbed their snacks. I let the seamstress and her assistants in and smiled from ear to ear as they rolled in the dresses on their rack. The girls wiped their mouths and hands before grabbing for their individual dresses. The seamstress and her assistants set up their pedestals so that the girls could stand on them while their dresses were being tailored. I had set up chinese dressing screens in my living room so that the girls could easily change behind them, although most of my wedding party demonstrated their lack of modesty by changing out in the open. I watched as one by one, the girls came out in the dresses and the seamstresses went to work.
I sat back on the day bed and it wasn't until I saw my phone sitting on the coffee table that I remembered one of my bridesmaids was missing. I glanced at my phone again, and grabbed it off the table. I sent a text to Monster, "Hey Mons...the dress fitting was today. Seamstresses are still here can you make it?"
Within 2 minutes she had responded with a "No..." My jaw dropped as I read the two letters and 3 periods.
I replied "Okay...well what day this week will work best for you for a re-scheduling?"
Again, I waited a couple of minutes to get Monster's Response. "Dunno." I crossed my legs and threw the phone on the cushion next to me. I supposed I would have to deal with that later.
Some time later the seamstresses were making their way out the door with the racks of dresses to finalize their adjustments. The girls plopped down on the couches, some landing on the plush carpet. Although I was still a bit preoccupied about Monster's texts, I didn't want to spoil the fun.
"Listen guys, I have a surprise for you!" I announced clasping my hands together. "I know we may feel a bit tired after all that, but I wanted to just have a fun little dance party..." I paused as the girls looked to one another in excitement. "I invited Girl Talk to come and spin some stuff for us!" The whooping ensued and I let Gregg Gillis in. He set up his computers and plugged them into my speakers as I went to the kitchen to retrieve additional refreshments. When I returned, he was standing shirtless behind his computer mixing country and rap songs together flawlessly. I poured myself a shot, "You're loss Monster," I said as I sucked down the vodka and grabbed Gaga for a swirl.
