    More info
The unique, hand-dyed silk scarves by Riverside Tool and Dye are simply gorgeous. Each scarf is a work of art and stylish accessory all in one. The raw silk material will help you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shibori is a traditional Japanese method of dyeing cloth that binds, folds and and compresses fabric to create several different patterns. The techniques used to create each piece are similar but the results are organic and unique. The Arashi design pattern can be described as stripes that loosely resemble snake skin. The full Arashi pattern can be seen in the third product image. This listing is for one 45x45 inch scarf in black and white using the Arashi pattern.
