Hello! This is Lottie here to show you all of the fabulous different ways to customize a t-shirt. :)

O1- TiE DYE
Take your plain white, cotton shirt and Place it on a flat surface, and lay it as flat as possible. Determine the point from which you want the spiral to originate; usually it will be in the center of the shirt or at a point slightly higher than center, but the choice is yours.
After you've decided the point of origin, pinch the fabric at that point between your thumb and forefingers and slowly twist the fabric in the clockwise direction until all of it has been turned. Manipulate the twisted fabric into a tight bundle, maintaining a neat spiral as much as possible. Then secure the bundle with rubber bands; use the rubber bands to form 6 or more pie-shaped wedges.
Using colors of dye (from a tie dye kit or craft store) mixed up in squirt bottles, squirt dyes onto the shirt, making sure to cover the shirt with dye; if you don't want white areas to appear in your design, you should make sure to get down deep into the folds of the shirt. You will probably have to move the rubber bands around a bit as you work. When completed, hang out to dry ;)
O2. FABRiC PAiNTS
Buy some fabric paints from a craft store and paint on whatever you like, it could be a quote, saying, picture, pattern or your name!
Leave to dry and use the instructions on the back of the packaging. Ps. I love these! http://www.bankfashion.co.uk/product/natural-products-puffy-paints/04563/?cm_mmc=Hurra-_-PPC-_-Google-_-__keyword__&aid=1100&source=plusbox&keyword_id&remote_ad_id&matchtype&keyword=&gclid=CJ3nldvvprQCFSbMtAodei4AUA (sorry the link is long!) you can get them in glow in the dark too!
O3. TiE IT
Choose a side to tie and secure 2 to 3 inches of the material. Hold the base of the material secure against your side with your off hand, leaving your forefinger free. Take the end of the gathered material with your right hand and form a full loop with all the gathered material around your off hand's forefinger.
Pull the material tight until you have the gathered material wrapped around your off hand forefinger, but still have another inch or 2 available at the end of the gathered material. Take the remaining material and thread it through the loop you've made around your off hand forefinger. Remove your off hand forefinger. Pull the gathered material completely through the loop until you have a firm knot.
O4. SPLATTER PAiNT ON iT
Grab some paint, and a paintbrush to use the bristles and flick paint onto the t-shirt. This is great fun but be careful when washing!
O5. iRON ON PiCTURES
You can buy iron on prints on ebay and some shops, simply put the design on the t-shirt and iron over it to secure it in place. There are loads of one direction ones!
