This week's DIY is inspired by tough spiked heels from Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin and MSGM. You'll need six 1" spikes, an awl, a screw driver and a pair of heels. Mark the placement of your spikes at the seam on the back of your heels. You'll want the spikes to sit far enough apart to prevent strain on the seam. Using your awl, push through the seam to make a hole. Next, push the screw from your first spike through the hole. Use the screw driver to tighten the screw flush with the inside of the heel. Repeat for the rest of your spikes.

Thanks to a pair & a spare (http://apair-andaspare.blogspot.com/2012/02/diy-spiked-heels.html) for this awesome DIY!

Love this easy DIY. They are gorgeous! Just a suggestion...You may want to cover the screw heads with fabric or something like a silicone glue if they begin to hurt from rubbing against your heel.
