DIY: Zig-Zag Shorts

Have you been coveting a pair of scalloped or zig-zag shorts? Here's a simple DIY from Studs and Pearls on how to make your own. All you need is an old pair of jeans, a sharpie, charcoal pencil, scissors, a scrap of cardboard, and a ruler.
 
Start by laying the jeans flat and cutting them at a slight angle going up from the center a little longer then you'll want. Draw a triangle using the straight edge and cardboard. Cut it out and place it at the bottom of the jeans at the inside seam. Trace the triangle along the jeans using your pencil and repeat on the other leg. Cut the triangles out on both legs.
