It's the very celebration of hope in mankind, hope that there will come a better day, hope that we can be happy and loving to one another if we just put down our defenses and little petty things!!! How can we lose sight of that? You know what, Pat? You put those songs playing and you make a tree with what you have, decorate that house as well as you can and watch christmas-y movies all day long! Don't give up on that feeling!

This is so cute and adorable like yourself :) And man, do I know what you mean! Christmas isn't as amazing as it used to be. The aura of Christmas has somewhat faded. I don't know. As years go by, people are kind of treating Christmas more and more plainly. It's nothing special for them anymore :/ Even my dad doesn't want to bother setting up a Christmas tree :( I miss the old days where the house was full of lights and there would be Christmas music playing all day long! :/ Oh :(
