Someone once asked me, why is it that the people we love the most are the ones we hurt the most? I never really knew what to say to that at that time. I was stuck. Completely stumped. I guess it’s because I never really knew what “hurting someone” really felt.. until I, myself, made the mistake of doing it.I did what I said I’d never do. And in all insecurities, to this day, I still feel like complete sh*t about it. Like I deserve to sit under a rock and stay there. It was definitely a trying time. I don’t know why I ever did it. I guess I was looking for happiness or freedom or maybe I was just looking for something I did not know I was looking for yet. But things do happen for a reason.

To answer her question, I don’t believe we intentionally hurt the ones we love. We don’t try to do it. We don’t see success in doing hurtful things. The ones we love most are hurt by the wrong things we do because, well, they love us back just as much. So whatever we do hurts them three times as much as it would hurt us. Because to them, they can no longer look at us the same way anymore as much as they wish to. Because to them, you were someone that they could rely on but they know that trust is now broken beyond repair. With all honesty, you have to do what makes YOU happy. People make mistakes every day.. those who are destined to love you forever will, those who aren’t.. simply won’t. The hope behind this is that there’s a second chance. Mistakes are the stepping stones of a great product. YOU are that great product.
