I Don't Know Who I Am

I Don't Know Who I Am
This started out as a set for the abstract contest--sort of a Picasso heads thing. But, then I realized it was the perfect metaphor for dissociation.

omg, marj aka, just saw your comment about others not believing they are in same body. i had big aha the other day of how they made parts think they weren't in the body. of course for self-harm reasons. if they are already healing they'll realize it soon enough. my mind was just so boggled.

I think it represents what it's like to have other "people" in my head. Most of them don't seem to be convinced yet that they are in this body. Thanks for commenting, all.

is she inside looking at the parts? Or is she trying to discover how many there are? This is very impressive and helps me understand better

Thanks for commenting. I wish I knew how many parts, too. I started making a system map, but got too overwhelmed.

Thank you! I enjoyed putting it together, even if it does represent a difficult subject.
