The Duomo at Santa Maria di Fiore

when i think of buildings i love this one's GOTTA BE top of the list. It will always remind me of my trip to italy over the summer, where we stayed in an apartment that was literally IN the piazza and had the perfect view of the dome. i could wake up, look out the window of the room i was staying in, and there it was. SIGH. it's just the most elegant and magical church in the best city ever
