sunburn // owl city
Tuesday: Since it's our first day on the island, take time exploring, tanning, shopping, or whatever else you want to do.
WARNING: short story
"What? What do you mean? Are you sure?" I asked, my voice getting higher by the second.
"I'm sure, I'm positive." the voice on the phone said.
I was skeptical and worried at the same time, "Well since you're not giving me any names, I can't believe it."
"You better believe it. I saw it with my own eyes." it said.
No, no, I wanted to scream! "I can't, so stop calling me unless you're 100% accurate."
"You just don't want to face the facts."
"Well /you/ just don't want to show your face, huh? I'm changing my number right now! Don't ever call me again!" I screamed into my phone.
Who could it be? Some person claiming they know certain information about Chase? Was it a lie? It must be a lie, I assured my self. But I have to see for myself.
Oceane came into our room. "Hey, you okay? You're all panicky-looking."
I sighed and paced around the room, searching for my sunblock lotion. "I'm fine, thanks for your concern."
She rolled her eyes, but I wasn't joking. I couldn't tell her. Yet. "Fine, let's go."
"Go where?" I asked.
"/Shopping/, what else? The girls are waiting." she said.
Right. Shopping. Something to take my mind off it all.
