EGA - Versailles Dandy

EGA - Versailles Dandy
Even though this outfit has distinctly Victorian clothing, the center coat (taken from a REAL Victorian fashion plate) is reminiscent of Louis XIV-XVI Jackets that would've been warn traditionally by men, but occasionally by women hunting. With the addition of lace cuffs (traditional to the period), Colonial curls, Mini-Tricorn Hat, and boots, this outfit would be acceptable for a hunting/sporting venture if you excuse the skirt length.

Overall, the pieces listed are shown for reference as I'm currently recreating this look. The jacket will be in the design of the fashion plate, but have the colors of the FPF jacket. The shirt is listed for reference to the other materials as I already have a suitable shirt. I intend to re-create the fashion plate over-skirt shown to go on top of a less ornate blue satin skirt like the black, satin bustle on the left. The tricorn will be re-created from the reference photo.

I might exchange the parasol for an authentic rapier and flintlock with frogs when allowed, but in 'public' settings I will resort to a parasol. The boots are just for reference and I'm researching better options for this outfit.
