Elizabeth Siddal

Elizabeth was the most famous muse of the Pre-Raphaelite artists, and was the mistress and eventual wife of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. She was also an accomplished artist herself. The relationship with Rossetti was tempestuous and, after years of ill-health and depression, Elizabeth overdosed on laudanum at the age of 32.
