elizabeth woodville

the first of my wars of the roses collections.

elizabeth woodville was queen of england as wife of yorkist king edward iv. by him, she was the mother of numerous children, including the princes in the tower and elizabeth of york, future mother of king henry viii.

for further reading, i suggest "the white queen" by philippa gregory. be warned, however; elizabeth's story does not have a happy ending.

It's on my 'to read' list. I think Phillippa Gregory is a great writer; and your collection is perfect.
