M.E.S.S.A.G.E. from me to you for 2014
What you experience exists because you have given it meaning. Be careful what you put out into the Universe.
Your mouth can be your greatest ally or your worst enemy. What’s on your mind will eventually come out of your mouth. Did you know that every experience in your life was spoken into existence?
Years ago I worked at a job that paid me very well but management was brutal. I got to such a low point that all I did was complain; “I’m so sick of this job.” “I’m so sick of this place.” “I’m so sick of these people.” I hated the person the job was turning me into. One day, very unexpectedly, I was fired from the job.
Many times we create our lives from the place within us that is broken or wounded. We speak into existence more of what has been rather than what could be because we speak from our pain rather than our power. The circumstances of our lives respond to what we feed them. Our lives grow into the attributes with which that are labeled.
“As a man thinketh….” “Cause & Effect”.
What we embody in our minds and character as a result of past experiences becomes what we expect. Since we always get what we expect, we limit ourselves with the words we speak that affirm our fears and disappointments. “I’ll never find the right relationship….” “I’ll always be broke!” “That will never happen for me.”
Call the things you desire into being so that your life will come into alignment with your greatest expectation.
Long before my coaching days, I became an affirmation Queen. It took some time but I finally figured it out.
What are affirmations, you ask?
Affirmations are everything you think, say, believe, feel and do. For every action there is an equal reaction. Believe me on this!
Affirmations operate in our lives whether we use them or not. If left unchecked, our affirmations are whatever feelings and thoughts are going on inside us. Those feelings and thoughts become our reality. That explains why we wind up with things in our lives that we don’t want, and don’t always get the things we do want. So whether you believe in the power of affirmations or not – they’re already operating in your life.
My daily morning affirmation: "The truth of God is the truth of my life. I easily and effortlessly accept my greater good knowing it is my divine right and privilege to experience the very best that life has to offer. " This hangs on my wall in my home office.
Read what Tony Robbins says about it:
"It's not what is happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny." – Anthony Robbins
What are you telling yourself about YOU and your life?
