The secret to amazing eyes:
“Never underestimate the power of black eyeliner to do a quick smoky eye. That’s something I’ve perfected after many years in the beauty industry; I can do it in the back of a taxi. I tend to use pencil eyeliners when I’m doing a smoked-out eye, too. Makeup artist Pat McGrath told me not to be afraid to get in there and really smudge it.”
The most-misused product:
“I think blush actually has quite a high intimidation factor. I think people don’t often know how to use it, or maybe they’re scared to use it, and they end up with two round blotches on their cheeks.”
Her top piece of beauty wisdom:
“You can always go back and fix it! I think having that attitude toward makeup in general is a really great thing. It’s only makeup; it’s not like you’re tattooing it onto your face. There’s a reason why makeup wipes exist—you can always take off whatever you messed up.”
