Here is a basic eye diagram I made because in the future when I make sets with eye makeup tips, I will say something like "apply a darker shadow on the crease of you eye" and if you are unsure of what I mean, you can check here.
Heres a short description of the different areas:
Highlight: Generally, you will apply a lighter color to add definition to your brow bone and give your eyebrows an extra "lift."
Crease/Contour: Here you will usually will add a darker or more defined color depending on what look your going for.
Inner Corner: It is a good idea to add a really light color to the inner part of your eye. It will give your eyes a boost to make you look more awake.
Lid: Usually you will put just a basic color here. If you are doing more of a layered of dramatic look, put the medium shade here.
Outer-V: If you are going for a dramatic look you can add a darker color here and blend it in with your lid shade.
Outer Corner: Just like the inner corner, add a light eyeshadow if you want to look more awake.
Upper/Lower Lash Line: Where you put your eyeliner :)
Waterlines (Upper one is also called the "tightline"): Sometimes you have to kind of pull your eyes up or down to see your waterlines. Some people like to put eyeliner on their waterlines because it just makes your eyes "pop."
Hope This Helps!! :D
