Fall is probably my favorite time of the year. The beautiful leaves, the crisp, clean air, bonfires, and who could forget, FASHION?!
As summer comes to an end, its time to lay off the neon's (for the most part), and start bringing out the rich, autumn colors. here is a list of some essentials for being stylish in 2012.
+Over sized, cable knit sweaters.
comfy and fashionable? i think yes. these look perfect with skinnies, or with body con, even floral skirts! if its chillier, try sheer black, or lace tights.
TRY: cream colors are quite in right now, but burgundy, navy blue, tan, dark green, black and charcoal gray are perfect for fall as well!
+military jackets
Jackets with big buttons, fancy collars, and unique shapes are a fantastic and fashionable way to make a simple outfit more unique.
+ripped skinny jeans
lightwash, darkwash, whichever, the more ripped the better. rips on the thighs make thighs look smaller. if your jeans are extremeley ripped can be paired with tights.. try colored or lace for a unique look.
+colored skinnies:
this is a trend we havent seen in a few years, but its HUGE right now. if your super daring, try red, or bright pink, even yellow or orange. if your a beginner, looking for only a little color, try different shades of blue or green, mint are super pretty.
+floral skirts
high wasted floral skirts are a double whammy, they define the waist, hide imperfections, yet still show and highlight leg. not to mention theyre adorable!
+lace dresses
one of my personal fall favourites, lace detail dresses. to make it more fashionable, add fitted blazers, patterned skinny belts, cute booties, oversized cardigans, etc.
+Fitted blazers
a definite staple this fall. they dress up any casual outfit, dress or skirt. try classic black, or different patterns and colors for a more daring look.
+feirce booties
cheetah, sky high color, sleep black, studded, zebra, anything. theyre hot.
+leather jackets
studs, zippers, snaps.. this look gives any thing any egdy, outside of classic look.
