One of the dozen or so trends called out this fall are bohemian print dresses, of which I am a fan.

That said--I confession--I cheated a bit on this one. This bohemian print is in the form of a skirt rather than a dress…and isn't bursting with any of the traditional autumn hues. But, it was just too lovely to pass up.

Admittedly, one of my favorite pairings is a colorful, highly decorated skirt with a white, crisply pressed, tailored button-down skirt. An exercise in contrasts, if you will. The denim jacket makes it more casual while the clean lines of it keep the look from seeming disheveled or sloppy.

Of course, it would be a shame NOT to incorporate gold and turquoise jewelry to call attention to these colors in the skirt. Finally, the vegan Victorian (granny) boot, bag and belt in black create balance with the darkest part of the skirt as well as walking the line between classic refined style and hippy happiness.
