Farewell to a pop LEGEND: R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

Farewell to a pop LEGEND: R.I.P. Michael Jackson.
Sorry, I realize this is a few days late.
This is my female version of Michael Jackson :]

I grew up on Michael Jackson tunes. I know most people say this, but seriously, I did.
I listened to MJ while all the other kids at my elementary school listened to N*Sync and Britney Spears.

Me and my dad once convinced my brother that, instead of going to the movies, we had gone to a Michael Jackson concert.

My little brother danced to "Beat It", which will remain one of my favorite songs. EVER.

I learned the "Thriller" dance at age 10.

Regardless of what he ended up as, regardless of what he may or may not have done, Michael Jackson was a legend, and icon, and idol, and he will be missed. So all you MJ haters should really go bother someone who cares.

Haha, I did promise a long comment, didn't I? Well this is very heartfelt and a lovely tribute to Michael Jackson. I'm sure he would of loved it.

What do you say when a universal icon is gone forever?
When someone who's words, who's music, who's life, inspires so many people? Inspirations to appreciate the arts, to appreciate music, to appreciate culture, to appreciate life? Inspiration just to have fun. How do you say goodbye to someone who had such a enormous impact on the world? On June 25, 2009, at the age of 50, Michael Jackson died. It feels so unreal to say that. Michael Jackson is dead. THE Michael Jackson. To me, and I know to a lot of other people, is like a immortal invincible part of our childhood, this...this.... person who's music flowed throughout our lives. I don't remember living without it. Whether it'd be when I'm little when my parents are playing it all the time, whether it be when I'm with my friends dancing around trying to do the moonwalk, it's....Michael Jackson! And just thinking about all the joy he's brough to so many millions of people (around the world) to comparison to his mysterious, his heartbreaking life, it's tragic. It really is, it's tragic.

The answer is, there isn't anything to sufficient to say. I needed to write this to express my sadness (also to Farrah, we will miss you too) and also to communicate my condolences to his family, to his friends, to his children. And that's all we can really do right now. So....Rest In Peace Michael Jackson.
