This year, Fashion’s Night Out falls on September 6, and if you’re in or around New York, you won’t want to miss it. But where should you spend your night? That’s where Polyvore wants to help! There are a jaw-dropping number of events scheduled for FNO—over 4,500 of them, in fact. And if you’ve only got a few hours, you need to get the most bang for your party buck.
To make navigating FNO superlatively easy, we cooked up this handy map. It lays out where the most amazing events are happening and where you can find the best fashion goody bags, too! Plus, we have the details on the Polyvore team’s party spot—we can’t wait to meet you!
You can post the FNO map to your blog, email it to your friends, print it out, or load it on your phone for easy access, too!
Ready to get started? Here we go:
Event 1. Longchamp at Rockefeller Center, 7–11 pm
Longchamp’s Rock Center boutique is giving away one of their brand new LM Cuir totes, screening a film and sending guests off in pedicabs. All the ingredients you need for a romantic New York evening!
Event 2. Saks at 611 Fifth Avenue, 6–10 pm
This is another celebrity-stuffed event. Rebecca Minkoff is hosting a “Girls’ Night Out” on the fifth floor, complete with ponytail styling bar, makeover station and DIY bracelets. But wait, there’s more! You can also hobnob with Erin Fetherston while you get your bangs trimmed and strike up a conversation with Oscar de le Renta about the fab FNO henna tattoos Saks is offering. What more could a girl ask?
Event 3. Bergdorf Goodman at 754 Fifth Avenue, 6–11 pm
Everyone who’s anyone will be here, dahling. The Bergdorf guest list already includes Rachel Zoe, Thakoon Panichgul, Lela Rose, Naeem Khan and Michael Bastian, among other luminaries. This is also a prime place to snag the amazing FNO tote that Brahmin designed—it’s only $50, and the proceeds go to benefit the NYC AIDS Fund.
Event 4. Madewell 115 Fifth Avenue, 7–9 pm
Looking for something casual and fun with plenty of hors d'oeuvres? Stop by Madewell early in your night to prepare for the madness to come.
Event 5. The Woolite Washed Boutique at 372 Broadway, 7–11 pm
This party has everything: limited edition loot, a hot DJ and us! The Polyvore team will be spinning out here, and we’d love to meet you! Come to dance, catch up with your favorite members and nab exclusives from Timo Weiland, Dannijo, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Felix Ray and LNA, too. See you there!
Event 6. Marc Jacobs at 163 Mercer Street, 6–11 pm
Want to meet Marc Jacobs? This is where you need to be, then! The hunky designer will be at his Mercer storefront handing out a few of his favorite things, and then from eight o’clock onwards everyone will be partying down with New York Magazine.
