Flamant Santo, slipper chair
Our Santo slipper chair is upholstered with a light beige fabric, beautifully underscoring the elegant design. The first slipper chair dates back to the first half of the 18th century. The chair featured an upholstered seat and elegant legs. The original slipper chair, often referred to as a boudoir chair was designed to help Victorian women dress. The chairs allowed women to sit lower to the ground, making it easier to bend down to put on shoes and stockings. The slipper chair is known for its graceful, armless profile. The low seat and soft base are perfect for lounging.
