I don't have enough words to thank @polyvore for the amazing experience we lived on NYC.
All was memorable, I arrived to the airport and a driver was waiting for me on a black Limo, then I got to the Soho Grand Hotel, where everyone looked like a model from a magazine, I had a great room with an amazing view of NYC.
I spent my first afternoon shopping with Nicole aka @nikkeeb, she is gorgeous, sweet and super fun! I had an amazing time with her and it was like we were friends from ever, we went to many shops, I loved uniqlo!, we also went to Marc Jacobs, acne and a vintage store that we both loved: What comes around goes around. Then at night I had dinner at Cipriani with @karineminzonwilson , her husband Horacio and @ashley-rebecca , they're super fun and sweet and I shared many laughs with them.
On Thursday I woke up early to get ready for the Polyvore meetup, I was really nervous to meet them all, I loved seeing the faces of everyone there, it's surreal to see the persons behinds the sets and of course, to meet the three most kind girls from Polyvore, Nadia, Chrystal and Jess, OMG they're so beautiful, inside and out!
The food was delicious and then we received our gifts! We got so many cool things! A big thanks to the sponsors: solestruck (they choose a pair of shoes for each one, based on the style of our sets, isn't that awesome), Wallis Fashion, Moda Operandi, John Hardy, Julep, karmaloop, asos, woolite, vichy, toms and many more!
After the brunch we went to Blow to have our hair done, I got the best blowout ever! and they also gave us goodies, thanks!
Then I went to Mac Soho with my fashion sister Karine, where a super sweet dominican girl made my makeup, and I loved it!
Then we went back to the hotel where a Limo was waiting for us to take us to the poly offices, where we met the super fabulous and stylish NY poly team, those girls are so stylish! We got to see a new feature that Poly will show you later, I just have to tell you that is going to be awesome!
We also got interviewed in front of a camera and we share a little about us and our feelings for Poly, then it was time to leave and we walked trough the streets of NY to feel the FNO experience, the streets were crowded and it was fun to see so many movement around.
Then we got to the Woolite event, where we saw Cat Deely from So you think you can dance, and we take pics with her and with Jacqui Strafford, Celebrities Stylist, both of them were really kind and Jacqui gave us great advice. Of course we also received gifts from the Woolite team, thanks again!
Then we went out for dinner and after that it was time to say goodbye to everyone, I really didn't want this day to end, I enjoyed every single detail and of course I will never forget it, so thanks again Polyvore!
