FontanaArte - Cheshire LED Table Lamp
Minimalist table lamp The Danish Italian design studio GamFratesi has remained true to their values with the Cheshire lights series. The light series is based on simplicity, aesthetics, functionality and a spark striking irony. This is how the designer-duo plays with the name of the lamp: The Cheshire Cat known among others from the novel "Alice in the Wonderland". Like the crazy cat from the story, the Cheshire table lamp will appear cosily and friendly on every sideboard. Form & light The Cheshire lamp by FontanaArte is available in different versions: As table, floor and suspension lamp. This is how the shape of the lamp reminds us of the arched back of a cat or of the wide grin of the Cheshire kitten. The table lamp spreads a diffuse light in the opal variant, whereas the Lampshade in black, green or white lets the the light shine downwards. In any case, the light ensures a pleasant lighting situation with its reduced form and the diffuse or indirect light emission.

Spaceship Enterprise landed. Or not? – No, this is the Fontana table lamp. The futuristic design still acts as fresh as ever – thereby this table lamp has already been designed in 1954. Already created in the 50s by Max Ingrand for FontanaArte , the table lamp still meets our definition of a futuristic design. The homogeneously coloured light corpus spreads soft, diffuse light, which also illuminates the base of the lamp ensuring a relaxed ambience. The light of the single base is (according to the edition) double to triple increasable, so that it is possible to create different light types according to the event with the light intensity regulation. The frame of the table lamp Fontana is made of painted metal, shade and base or mouth blown, satined glass. The table lamp by FontanaArte is available in three different sizes.

    FontanaArte - Pirellina Table Lamp
“I go with my lantern and my lantern goes with me” (German St. Martin’s Day children’s song). The Pirellina isn’t portable, but it mustn’t. Since the lamp looks much more beautiful in living rooms. And thereby it spreads a comparably pleasant light, like the one of lanterns on St. Martin’s Day. The Pirellina table lamp was designed by Gio Ponti for FontanaArte in 1967. Its unmistakable shape ensures a pleasant, diffuse light, which nearly acts nostalgic because of the appearance of Pirellina by FontanaArte itself. The ring at the top makes it easy to change the lamp’s place, if its light is desired at another place. Since the light beam of the table lamp by FontanaArte is glare-free and dimmable , Pirellina serves for different purposes: It can be a reading lamp or an accent lamp. The FontanaArte Pirellina has an integrated dimmer and a frame out of nickel-plated brass glass. The opposite lying diffusors are made of bent, pressed glass.
  • FontanaArte - Bianca LED table lamp

FontanaArte - Bianca LED table lamp
Table lamp made of satin opal glass The Bianca lamps series by FontanaArte convinces with a diffuser made of blown glass in different variations. This is how the elegant lamp is available for the table, the floor or as pendant lamp. The aim of designing a glass-like surface which should cover the quality of the material as well as the light, was the beginning of the design of Bianca. The mouth-blown glass and the light are thereby harmonically connected, creating an aesthetically clear and absolutely geometrical lamp. Intricate handiwork The glass shade was covered with elaborate handmade small furrows. The small hollow spaces create a unique structure on the glass, which optimises the diffuse light emission. The geometrical structure of the screen testifies the precision of manufacturing and reminds us of fresh traces in the snow with its furrows. In addition to the table variant, Bianca is also available as pendant lamp and floor lamp.

    FontanaArte - Thor Table Lamp
Designed by Luciano Pagaine and Angelo Perversi for FontanaArte in 2000, the Thor table lamp bribes with its round, organic shape. The table lamp by FontanaArte spreads a diffuse, moody light. It isn’t quite obvious why Luciano Pagaine and Angelo Perversi named after the Germanic God. Maybe they wanted to emphasize the shape of their lamp with it, since it looks like a horn with its curves, and horns were used to drink out of them back then. The modern lamp Thor is made of a white painted metal frame. The diffusor is made of white, mouth blown opal glass. Thor is available in different sizes.

    FontanaArte - Blom Table Lamp
Table Lamp with Petals Watching this lamp makes you feel like it was springtime. The small petals curl in the direction of the light sphere of the Blom as if it was the shining sun. The base of the table lamp from FontanaArte thereby looks like the flowers’ stem. Blom is the name of the small sun worshiper. The lamp was designed by Andreas Engesvik for FontanaArte. The light intensity of the table lamp is adjustable by moving the petals, and it can also be directed into different spots. The shade itself is made of opal white polyethylene, which spreads light softly and diffusely. FontanaArte Blom: Direct and indirect light Even watched directly, the light of the Blom is pleasant, since the satined diffusor makes the beam absolutely glare-free. This is how the unusual table lamp can also be used as reading light for example, while it spreads indirect light when the “leaves” are turned, becoming a wonderful light that emphasizes single details or the corner of a room. The “petals” of the Blom are made of polycarbonate and the base of aluminium. Blom is available in different colours. The lamp was honoured with the Red Dot Award because of its design.
