In the peak winter months, there's nothing like a thick fur to trap in all the heat you need. As of now, we're lovin' the fabulous faux fur collection of Sylvie Mus, a fashion blogger and model from Rwanda living in Finland. It's apparent from just a few of her looks that she's acquired quite the array of fuzzy winter wear over the years — from greys and royal blues to leopard and dalmatian print. She even has a removable vintage collar that she mixes and matches with her other coats, salvaged from one of her mother's old ones (a trick we're definitely going to appropriate for the season)! Sylvia's also a huge fan of soft, snow white knits, not just on the conventional sweater but on mid-length pencil skirts as well. A lover of all things comfortable, she's even incorporated the recent pajama trend into her winter wear with a bathrobe-style coat. With a base look influenced by androgynous elements and neutrals — mainly white, black and leather — Sylvia is the epitome of cozy chic (with some of the furs adding to the chic). Simple brogues and the occasional royal blue add a simple elegance to the rest of her looks. If you're interested in learning more about this statuesque beauty, get inspired by some of our favorite looks of hers below, or explore more of her blog here! It's kinda cold so I'm wearing big coats now. I love vintage ones like these that remind me of a bathrobe. The faux fur collar isn't part of the piece — I actually salvaged it from an old coat belonging to my mother and now use it to dress up any coat I have. I decided to go for a casual chic look by pairing my favorite faux leather Lindex pants with this white blouse from Monki (I added heels to keep it from becoming too casual). I haven't worn this coat in such a long time, I forgot how much I really like it! There's nothing better than wearing fur right now. I got this one from H&M years ago. I felt like wearing an all black androgynous outfit to last night's party and put on this furry scarf from Kappahl to add some color. I'm obsessed with furry scarves at the moment and think they're a cool alternative to normal ones. Since this one is so colorful, it looks best with black and other dark colors, and is the perfect thing to wear on colder days. This is officially my new favorite skirt. I've been super into knitted skirts and maxi dresses as of late. There's nothing better to wear in winter than knits, and this skirt isn't just pretty, it's also warm — in other words, absolutely perfect. I felt like keeping it simple and monochrome for my lunch with friends today with a long white coat, turtleneck and these suede boots. I love the shape of this coat so much — it's definitely one of my favorites. It suddenly got scary windy over here! This pretty, furry leopard coat from H&M is coming in handy for bracing the cold for sure. I'm really into the 70's vibe so I added this little white scarf and tied it in the back so it kinda looks like a choker. It's my favorite accessory this season. This week has gone by so fast but I managed to find some new boots online for winter and I can't wait for them to arrive next week! I was keeping it casual today with my favorite kind of monochrome combo. I feel like this coat itself makes a big statement so I thought I'd keep everything else kinda simple so it's not too much going on at once. A coat like this really helps in all of the rainy weather we're having at the moment. I never get tired of matching clothes in the same color (especially white since it's one of my favorite colors). In my opinion you can never be in too much white, but I did add some color this time with nude pumps and this faux fur collar. It's a sure way to look chic when you're in a minimal color palette. It also started to finally snow over here so it looks like it's time to put the pumps away and start wearing those winter shoes! The boots I ordered last week are finally here and I can't wait to show you guys. This is what I wore to a winter party over the weekend. It wasn't a fancy one so I kept it casual and decided to wear this sweater on top
