So over this season. I am cold constantly, my shoulders ache from the tension, my skin is dry and flaky no matter how much moisturizer, creams, oils and ointments I apply, and I have to wear 6 metric tons of clothes every day. Not to mention the 10 minute process of getting bundled up just to get out the door. Sunglasses, hat, winter coat, scarf, gloves. I mean accessorizing is fun, but I get sick of it, and it only just makes it tolerable to be outside, not at all pleasant.
So this model appealed to me in more ways than one. The body language, of course, is my reaction to this time of winter. But her outfit is supremely simple, while remaining interesting. All the bare skin reminds me of sticky hot climates, where putting on clothes just feels wrong. Yes, somehow she represents everything I'm about today.
