This pouffe will arrive flat/unfilled, please see the Care & Info tab for more information on how to fill your pouffe yourself. 100% leather Ethically handmade in Morocco Your pouffe will arrive unstuffed but there are many ways to fill it yourself. Pouffes are a great way to recycle unwanted materials, they can be filled with almost anything you have to hand; polystyrene balls, old newspapers, plastic bags, old clothing, bedding or fabrics. It is an eco-friendly way to use up materials you may have stored at home for recycling. Alternatively, your local furniture upholsterer should be able to supply suitable stuffing materials. Step-by-step instructions: 1. Make sure the material you are using is clean and dry. 2. Unzip the pouffe and open it out to its full shape. 3. Start by gradually filling the edges of your pouffe to ensure that all the small spaces are fully stuffed. This will prevent air spaces forming in your finished pouffe. 4. Continue to add stuffing evenly ensuring the sides and seams are filled out. 5. Please avoid over-filling your pouffe as this could put a strain on the zip when closing, but over time as your pouffe beds down it can be topped up with more filling. Please note: this leather is a natural material, dyed by hand in a small artisanal workshop; any minor flaws and imperfections are characteristic of the materials and methods and only add to the beauty and character of the product.

  • Normann Copenhagen Circus Pouf
    shophorne.com
Circus is a pouf that has an exclusive, Scandinavian feel, created by the Danish designer, Simon Legald. The pouf is rounded in shape, with the clean, graphic lines characteristic of Scandinavian design. The versatile Circus pouf allows contradictions to meet in a design whose style is strict and minimalist, while at the same time having a soft and inviting expression. Circus draws inspiration from antique Moroccan leather poufs, whose focus is on handicraft, and it explores the design construction and plays with the details. The traditional patchwork patterns are replaced by a plain triangle motif, giving the pouf a contemporary look. Circus is a playful, yet at the same time sophisticated, addition to any furnishing. Simon Legald says: “I like to work in depth with the construction of a design in order to achieve optimal functionality. Circus is made from two different types of foam: hard foam to maintain the shape of the bottom part of the pouf and softer foam above to provide excellent sitting comfort”. Textiles are now truly regaining their place in interiors. There is a focus on mixes of materials, textures and unexpected uses. The Circus pouf is available in soft and luxurious closely woven velour in five saturated colors, adding depth and warmth to the decor. Circus is a multi-functional piece of furniture and can, for example, be used as an extension for your sofa, as a seat for a coffee table or as a decorative seat in the bedroom.

  • Zuzunaga Cuzco Pouf - Shape 3
    shophorne.com
The Cuzco Collection by Zuzunaga is inspired by an ancient wall on the outskirts of Cuzco, Peru believed to be built by the Incas. The ancient Saksaywaman dry stone wall is built of gigantic stones that fit together so perfectly a single piece of paper cannot fit between them. Each of the 4 geometric shapes in the Cuzco Collection will fit together in only one way to create a specific pattern but individually can be formed into endless combinations of shapes and colors. The poufs are upholstered in wool using Divina fabric by Kvadrat. The primary colors are accented with a contrasting trim. Each of the 4 of the Cuzco Poufs play on the right angle lending them to be used in corners as a chair or table or in the center of the room in various combinations. Let your imagination soar in combining the shapes and colors to bring a sense of fun and adventure to any room. Each of the 4 shapes are available in red, blue, yellow and green.
