The sides of the Barbry chopping board are elevated, so that the board is easily picked, even then it stands on flat surfaces. Furthermore it is easier to push the chopped ingredients into a cooking pot since the special form keeps the food from falling to the sides. Surprising quality is also included in the objects of Georg Jensen, as always: The Danish manufacturer produces the chopping board of the Barbry collection out of oak wood. The board is also suitable as serving tray with its reduced and still elegant shapes. The chopping board is especially expressive combined with other objects of the Barbry collection by Georg Jensen: The material contrasts of oak wood and stainless steel ensure gorgeous effects, but always suiting each other and acting harmonically together. • Georg Jensen - Forma Chopping Board
    connox.com
The Forma Chopping Board by Georg Jensen embodies a pretty, organic design. This form doesn’t only make the Helle Damkjær designed board optically harmonic, but makes it also wonderful to hold. In France, where I live, I am extradited to a gastronomic paradise. I have been invited to too many good brunches and dinners with perfectly served tables that did decently comply with luxury and etiquette rules. Forma represents my own demand of designing a chopping board which would represent luxury and the pragmatic Scandinavian serving culture at the same time. Helle Damkjær. Because of its exceptional hygienic qualities, oak wood was used for the Forma chopping board. It has been treated with biologic oil out of natural mineral-oils, which protect the chopping board and avoid drying and tiring. Besides the Forma chopping boards, there is also a serving set for cheese available out of the Forma series by Helle Damkjær for Georg Jensen.
