This is my first attempt at a beauty set on my new account! c: This tutorial is based off of what little knowledge I have of makeup (mostly gained from articles, videos, and experience). I tried to make a tutorial based off of this look from a Chanel show using Chanel beauty products. I’ll walk you through the steps if it isn’t explained clearly enough.

Step One:
Get a washcloth and wash your face. You might want to exfoliate, depending on the state of your skin. Then, take some moisturizer (preferably with at least SPF 20+) and apply it evenly, avoiding areas very close to the eyes.

Step Two :
With your hands (or a foundation brush, hands just tend to warm the product and make it spread better) rub the liquid foundation into your face, trying to blend it with the moisturizer. *Try to spread a bit of it down your neck so you don’t have an uneven tone* If you have any uneven spots or bags under your eyes, you might want to use a concealer. After applying liquid foundation, take a pressed powder or loose powder to dust over the liquid foundation in order to set it.

Step Three:
Take a highlighter (preferably powder, if you use cream you might want to do it before sealing your foundation with a powder) and run it over your cheek bones and directly under your eyebrows, on the brow bone. If there are any other places you want to lighten (like the inner corner of the eyes, across the nose, etc) dust the highlighter across those places. With either a fluffy brush or a blush brush, take a soft pinky color and sweep it across your cheekbones, then smile, and dust it on the apples of your cheeks.

Step Four :
(I didn’t include an eye primer in the set, I don’t know if Chanel makes one, but you can use what you have.) Take a little bit of primer, close your eyes, and lightly rub it into the lids to create a base to build eyeshadow onto. Now you will want to take an eyeshadow brush and get the silver. Apply silver eyeshadow all over the lid, up to the crease, wing it out a bit, and carefully run the brush under the lower lash line and into the inner corner.

Step Five :
Taking a black eyeliner, gently make small lines above the upper lash line and under the lower lash line. Do not make the eyeliner dark, it’s only supposed to make the lashes look fuller, otherwise it’ll take away from the eyeshadow. Apply a couple coats of a black mascara. Be careful not to over-do it, you want them to look long, but not fake. Curl your lashes.

Step Six :
Take a chapstick or in this case, chanel lipbalm, and apply it to your lips. This will moisturize them and provide us with a nice base for our light pink lipstick. Give your lip balm a minute before gently tapping the soft pink lipstick all over the bottom lip. *Tapping it will have a soft effect, rather than heavily applying it* Once you have a good amount of pink, rub your lips together. For an extra touch, take a light powder (matte or shimmer) and touch it on the top of the bottom lip and around the cupid’s bow. This will highlight the lips, making them more defined.

That’s it, you’re finished. Voila!
