I like to listen to the Black Keys when I feel...or want to feel...Bad-A. I listen to them, especially when I'm in a bad mood. Chris hates them, haha. I don't know why, but I've noticed he doesn't like the more rock n roll genre as much as I do.
I got to venture to the mall today, and I was in Ameriican Eagle, where I found a really cute, red, dress with a peter pan collar and black and white floral print (http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=0393_9260_600&catId=cat1320034). I love the way it looks on me! I don't have any red dresses, except for this Michael Kors sweater dress that my grandmother gave me, so that's nice.
I also purchased two of these blouses (http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=2351_5359_672&catId=cat90038) - one in pink and one in purple. I usually don't buy things like that in multiple colors but I swear, I stood there for ten minutes trying to figure out which one I liked better. I am also super happy because it looks similar to the blous above, and I have been in love with that for about a century!
I also found an adorable, mint green, infinity scarf, and I was so happy because I got the last one! (My mother fell in love with it when she saw it too!)
The last item I purchased was a pendant necklace that had a forest green geode stone (http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=0482_2830_013&catId=cat90050).
The thing that bothers me about American Eagle's jewelry is that there is always, like, five thousand charms attached to the main pendant on the necklace. Sometimes it is cute, but I have been searching for something like this for a while. It's edgy, super long, and different.
I don't usually shop at American Eagle. To be honest, it's not my favorite place in the whole world. Their clothes usually fit me weird, and to be frank, it's not really my style. (I'm one of those hipsters that doesn't go with the flow either and hate the fact that basically everyone I know owns the entire store for their closet. Trust me, with the pink blouse, I thought of about 5 different girls I knew who I would bet anyone fifty dollars that they already have it.) But I was excited about what I found! It never hurts to look!
Whenever I go shopping, I try to envision an outfit I could create with the piece, or I try to think of two or more articles of clothing in my closet that I would automatically pair with the piece. I do this mainly because I have so many different and unique articles of clothing that sometimes I find myself admiring things that don't seem to fit with anything but jeans, and that bothers me greatly.
I am also making it a priority to order a pair of the shoes above.
Oh my God, I think I am becoming a shopaholic..
..I think I just might be okay with that..
