It seems too quiet around here lately, or perhaps that's just due to my own semi-absence. I check every day! I just haven't been, actively active.
The first round of GBC was this: http://www.polyvore.com/gbc_round_one/collection?id=3088116
I think my actual reaction when I saw I had gotten @noceurs was actually BWAHAHAHAHA.
Um, because I've been following your polylife for a while,
long enough to know that you have had other names besides noceurs. And while I was very, very disappointed @inoubliiable no longer exists [tsk tsk], there was at least enough evidence of this layout on @volonte. Which are in fact the layouts for which I started following you in the first place and as I expressed here http://www.polyvore.com/use_sleeves_my_sweater_let/set?id=73458641 four months ago miss dearly.
I'm a sucker for squares, that's all.
But also the style. It was always glossy and regal, jewel toned and swanky, modern and some sort of mid-century glamour that people don't really dress like. Sleek. My style is messy, on the whole. I like bright colors [or I usually do] and I have had all the layouts that I feel a bit like a human identity crisis.
Of course, Fraxinus, my NaNo novel that I'm now deeply behind on [I was doing so damn well,], does lend it self to at least the color palette I sought. And thusly, after much deliberation, I settled on Esme to rep my, in semi-resemblance, to my new main character and narrator Therese.
I also threw in that Prada coat cus I knew you wanted it.
Also, I did a little digging and discovered this interesting thing
I know that you and your copy are poly friends but it was a bit confusing for me when looking at your account [I mostly blame the stupid profile layout and polyvore for the misdirection.]
I assume the rest of these or most of these
http://www.polyvore.com/belle/collection?id=2125259 are from @inoubliiable so at least there is a way to still see these sets even in imitation. Which possibly was why that was a thing? But still, tsk on the deletion. Totes judging.
Sincerely, the nicest person ever.
