Hey, it's Brie here. (: I'm Gluten Free, & I saw this recipe, & decided to share it with you guys!
Let's get started!
• 3 cups of walnut halves ( toasted & cooled )
• 4 cups of powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
• Dash fine grain salt
• 4 large egg whites ( room temperature )
• 1 tablespoon of good-quality vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 32O F.
Toast the walnuts in the oven until they turn into a golden-brown.
Cool the walnuts and then chop them in a food processor. Set aside.
Sift together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, sea salt, and then stir in the walnuts.
Add the egg whites & vanilla. Stir the mixture until well combined.
Spoon tablespoons of the batter onto the baking sheets.
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
