Saturday: A secret party is being held at The Saloon, thrown by Mr. Barton and his fellow delinquents. If you aren't keen on sneaking out after curfew then sit this one out.

Nobody noticed that I went outside. As usual, my mum was too busy with her look. And I didn't want to know what my dad did. Maybe he just slept, but I didn't see one of the house maids, too.

I arrived very early at the party. Most of the people would think that I'd sit this one out because I'm a goody-goody. But wrong, ladies and gentlemen.

I saw Coco and Kennedy sitting at a table and chatting.

"Hello", I greeted them.

"Oh, Katherine. You here?", Coco grinned and raised an eyebrow.

"Of course. I didn't want to miss your company."

"How lovely, Kat", Kenny meant and turned around to face Coco again.

I didn't want to sit down with them, so I looked around. My eyes met Alex James Montgomery.

"May I take you to a table?", he asked and kissed my hand.

"Of course", I smiled and took his arm. We sat down.

"You made it?", he asked.

"Obviously." I shrugged.

"What a nice night", Alex mentioned and made a gesture including the whole, crowded room.

"Oh, yes." It got kinda boring now. I eyed Kenny who threw glances at us while she pretended to didn't notice our talk.
Suddenly, somebody played some music and some couples formed to dance.

"Would you like to....", Alex started, but I already jumped off and took his hand with a bright smile. He followed me towards the middle of the room.
He put his hand around my waist and guided me threw the slow waltz. We passed Alice who, as usual, made me blush. She was flirting so shamelessly!

We had to change partners. Now I was with Samuel while Alex threw Luella around. She didn't seem very interested in all this stuff and kept staring down to the floor.

I looked around for Nate or at least Alan. Samuel was nice, but... well, just nice.

"Where did you learn to dance that great?", he asked.
Before I could answer, we were interrupted.

"With me!", Alan grinned and took my hand. Samuel was too confused to protest. I acted like I was dancing with air now and waited for the end to come.

"You're sweeter than roses today, Kat", Alan whispered in my ear. I blushed again.

"Alan!", I pressed out between my clenched teeth.

"Please, don't you enjoy some fun?", he laughed. "Be honest, this Samuel guy is boring as hell!"

I shrugged. "At least he knows how to behave."

"I /know/ it, too. I just don't /do/ it every time", Alan joked. I had to smiled accidentally.

"Oh, that's how I like it", Alan mumbled.
The song was over.

"Can I get you something to drink?"
I don't know why, but I nodded.
When Alan came back, he proposed: "Let's go outside, Kat. It's just too hot in here now. And such a wonderful night", he pointed towards the moon.
I followed him into the garden where we sat down on a bench.

"You're different, Kat. And not like everybody thinks you are."

"What do you think?"

"Well, most of them think that you're the perfect, little daughter. The born socialite. But I guess that you want more. You want adventures."

"Then you know me better than I do", I responded.

"I can give you what you really want", Alan whispered and played with a strand of my hair.
I shivered, but not because I was cold. This felt good.

Suddenly, Alan's and my lips crushed. I let out a soft moan and felt that he smiled .

"Good that?", Alan asked and went on kissing me. Very softly, but I wanted more. I ran my fingers through his hair while he stroke my hips.

Suddenly, I heard some footsteps coming around the corner. I pushed Alan away and tried to fix my hair.

"Kat?" It was Nate. He stared at us and I hoped that he couldn't guess what we just did. Alan greeted him with a winner's smile.

"Do you want to join us?", he asked.

"Did you...?", Nate started, but then he interrupted himself. "No. I just wanted... I heard some noise."
He stared at me and then back to the floor.
Alan enjoyed the whole situation.
I knew that my face was totally re now and tried to cover it with my hair.
Nate went away without even saying goodbye.

"Poor boy", Alan chuckled. He put his hand into my hair again and leaned over to me. I wanted it -or him?- so badly, but I refused. I wouldn't make the same mistake again.

"Alan, please...", my voice trailed off. "We shouldn't do that."

"Who says so?", he made a point, but he let go.

"Let's go inside again. And please, please don't tell this to anybody. Especially not to Nate!", I begged.

He stroke my cheek with his thumb and wandered to my lips.

"Just one more kiss and I'll do anything you want", he said.
I nodded like it would be something very bad for me, like eating a dog or something like that. But enjoyed every single little second.
